I achieved what I didn't think I'd be able to the other day. I've had my 360 for about 8months and bought about 20games and never once gained every achievement for any of said games. I never really strived to get them, none of them actually, I only really came across them. But still, even with that, I wanted to at least get 1000Gamerscore for ONE game.
I knew it'd be a stealth game, that was a given considering that they're the ones I love to play and could do so endlessly. Not long back it seemed like Assassin's Creed was in my reach, Flag hunting wasn't too appealing though and I didn't want to achieve perfection through cheating, so I just left it alone. Not last week I realised, after looking through the list of tasks, that Hitman : Blood Money, was entirely within my reach. Let's face it, I could complete that game with one hand tied behind my back!
So off I set, on completing the game through and through three times, on three difficulty levels, getting 5 "Silent Assassin" ranks on each level, plus getting the three secret achievements, collecting all the guns and generally being great at the game. It didn't take long, within a week, I was done, every achievement point harvested and sitting proudly at a score of 8800 or so. Marvelous!
So what else to tell? Erm... Oh yeah! A cousin of mine was in the local paper this week! I think it was wednesday. Unfortunately for him, all-be-it his own fault, he was not in the paper for an act of heroism, or bravery. Nope! This man was in for getting caught by the police... trying to sell an undercover cop Cocaine.. Or Heroin... I forget which, I don't care to be honest. I don't have much to do with him, I haven't seen him in years, but it definitely cheered me up a little to see that his dishonest ass was locked up in jail for 5 years! Well.. I say five, but that's what the papers said, what he actually got was 6, either way, it still wasn't long enough. The dude has been in jail longer than he's been out. Reform is a word that he doesn't understand. He gets caught, serves his time, comes out, and goes back and does it over... People never learn, though really I dont' think he should get the chance, three strikes and you should be locked up permanently... Hell, death penalty all the way..
I also found out this week that my niece is allergic to... something. Truth is, we don't know exactly. Our best guess is that she is allergic to cats. She started getting this rash on her body which seemed to travel... It kinda spread from one place to another, but disappeared occassionally from where it was. At first we weren't sure, but we had it checked out at the docs and it's definitely an allergy. The previous day, she was stroking a cat outside her house, so we believe it to be the cause. I'm not sure if allergies can be genetic (I shall look that up shortly) but her grandad/my dad is allergic to cats, so it seems likely.
So they gave her some medicine that would clear it up for her, a syringe thing that you put in her mouth and release the stuff into. Naturally she wasn't a fan of the stuff to begin with, but she took it. Next thing I'm being told that she's been taken up to hospital because it was making her throw up. This was due to her stomach condition in which she can't really take anything medicinal without being sick. At first I thought it was just what she had taken that was coming back up.
Today I was up there and saw her have it, within about a minute she was being sick, and it wasn't just the medicine. I felt hella bad for her, but after she was done she felt better. Her mother didn't really handle cleaning it up very well and couldn't keep it down either...! it was pretty disgusting. Later in the day we were tickling her and off she went again... all over the place. It's urgh to see, hopefully they'll manage to do something about it though.
I've noticed I'm putting on weight.. something I was having a lot of trouble doing a few years back. Not sure why, just couldn't put it on. Now though I'm beginning to regret I even wanted to! I'm gonna have to start getting into shape or something and I'm not looking forward to that in the slightest... Exercise? No thank you!
Well that's all, not long until GTA! Woooooooooooooooooooo
Stay Good All
