We are in a crisis---and not too many people know about it! In reality, we are "LOST at Sea!!"

There is a Treaty before the Senate that needs your attention in fervent OPPOSITION against it! It's called the Law of the Sea Treaty or LOST! Last week, Obama "spokesmen"---Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and General Mark Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff—all testified in favor of the LOST Treaty.

Mr. Obama is now in a "full-court press" to soon push for ratification of this worthless and damaging treaty. That's why you need to respond today!

Accession to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea Treaty would EXPOSE the United States to baseless, climate change lawsuits!

The Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) threatens American SOVEREIGNTY!

Our Senate MUST NOT RATIFY this ghastly, anti-American treaty!!

Yet the "powers that be" (The Obama administration and their minions) want to pass this treaty that has been "waiting in the wings" for THREE DECADES!

THIRTY YEARS AGO, in 1982, President Ronald Reagan made a choice to NOT sign the treaty known as "Law of the Sea" (LOST), a United Nations treaty that would undermine America's treasury for billions of dollar, then REDISTRIBUTE that wealth to the rest of the world.

The bottom line: The United States does NOT need to join another United Nations treaty!

However, LOST should NOT be ratified and signed, and instead, the Obama Administration should turn its attention to ensuring that the U.S. Navy has the resources it needs to protect America's interests on the high seas.

Barack Obama is ready to sign the United Nations treaty which will give the United States sovereign control over our own waters to the United Nations.....

If the treaty is signed, the United Nations can regulate fishing, oil production, and even United States Navy exercises. All of our activities can be monitored by the United Nations!

President Ronald Reagan was correct in rejecting this treat 30 years ago!! Under international law, we ALREADY have access to these areas. LOST amounts to little more than a costly power-grab by America's enemies worldwide!

Steve Groves, of the Heritage Foundation, an expert on LOST, writes: "In addition to needlessly exposing itself to baseless environmental lawsuits, the United States would be required to transfer billions of dollars in oil and gas royalties...to the International Seabed Authority for redistribution to the developing world."

Conservatives believe that this treaty would force the United States to redistribute wealth through royalties from offshore drilling and impose regulations on greenhouse gases.

An outspoken critic of the LOST Treaty is Jim DeMint (R-SC), who said: "This treaty would subordinate American sovereignty to the United Nations, impose an international tax on U.S. energy production that would raise costs for American families, and act as a backdoor Kyoto Protocol that could allow foreign nations to regulate U.S. energy emissions."

TWENTY-SIX REPUBLICAN SENATORS have signed a letter circulated by DeMint vowing to oppose the treaty if it gets to the Senate for a vote!

Heritage Foundation president Ed Feulner, in 2007, described the proposal in a Washington Times editorial:

"This authority would basically be an aquatic United Nations of the sea (indeed, Law of the Sea Treaty is a United Nations convention). Except, instead of issuing toothless condemnations of the United States, this authority would have the actual power to thwart American interests. For example, the treaty would empower environmental activists to bring action against the U.S. for violating the Kyoto Protocol, though the Senate never ratified that accord and senators sensibly made it clear they wouldn't agree to Kyoto if it would harm American economic interests."

Like you, we are concerned this treaty would cede United States sovereignty to an international organization (the U.N.) that would have the power to collect royalties on oil and mineral exploitation and use the funds to help poorer countries,

During the hearing this past week, U.S. Senator Jim Risch said, "There's 288 pages here. But if we have to give up one scintilla of sovereignty that this country has fought, has bled for...I can't vote for it!"

Forbes columnist Larry Bell reports that "as much as 7 percent of U.S. government revenue that is collected from oil and gas companies operating off our coast would be meted out to poorer, landlocked countries."

The bottom line: LOST is merely another power grab by the Obama administration....or shall we say---POWER GIVEAWAY of the sea that the United States already controls!

But signing on to the LOST treaty, no matter what Obama, Hillary and Panetta say, is for sure NOT in the best economic interest of the United States of America!

The United Nations is in opposition to our national sovereignty and even our republican form of government. The ratification of LOST would open up a multitude of economic problems to the United States! Global taxes and regulations that do not promote economic growth would be horrendous to U.S. corporations. The increase in possible environmental lawsuits would be astronomical. We must vote NO against the LOST Treaty!

Fox News published a commentary by U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) where they stated: "Under the treaty, the transfer of these funds does not end with nation states. These royalty revenues would even be extended to ‘peoples who have not attained full independence or other self-governing status.' That means groups like the Palestinian Authority and potentially other groups with terrorist ties.

"U.S. companies would be forced to give away the very types of innovation that historically have made our nation a world leader while fueling our economic engine. Under the best of U.S. economic circumstances, the Senate should say no to such an egregious breach of the trust Americans have placed in us. Our current economic struggles are all the more reason to say no to a treaty that is all cost and no benefit!

"Ceding authority...would mean that the sovereignty currently held by the U.S. over the natural resources located on large parts of the continental shelf would be lost. That loss would mean lost revenue for the U.S. government in the form of lost royalties that the U.S. government collects from the production of those resources."

Estimates are that the resources have a value in the range of "trillions."

However, any type of global taxation would be a direct violation of the United States Constitution. Signing the LOST Treaty is not only in the worst economic interest of this country, it violates the true sovereignty that we now enjoy.

Yet again, Mr. Obama has embraced the advances towards a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT! LOST gives away our sovereign rights.

And significantly, it pushes us towards an economic disaster!

But, this is all a part of the "Great Giveaway" for the sake of Barack Obama's "Green Agenda."

It is crucial that you fax today in support against this "Law of the Sea" Treaty to cede control to the United Nations.

Please fax our United States' Senate - NOW - to make sure there is NO LOST!

This is just one of many steps towards a one world government. Its gonna happen sooner or later. On top of that, we don't have a republic government any more and haven't for years. We live in a nation that is a Democratic government and is run by greedy capitalist pigs. What's the difference between this and Nike or Ford or Chevy bringing there company's over seas for cheaper labor that ends up crippling the American economy, because they would rather save money than create jobs for Americans. None of this kind of stuff is new and there's nothing we can do about. Just look at Obama-care, even though the majority of the country opposed it, it was still voted in because of capitalist greed that has corrupted our government for decades.

Why protest to get arrested? Any government officials who are going to vote for this have already made up their minds whether they are going to vote yes or no, no matter how many people protest or write them and tell em what they think. The only way to change this shit is to have a revolution or vote those fucks out. You need to get a grip on how this world really works and protesting in America and speaking your mind is useless. They're already taking away our civil liberties slowly and you think this shit is worthy of people's time. You really need to do some research on how this government works and it damn sure ain't by protest or writing our congressmen or senators. Because bums were being dropped off by the bus load to contaminate the scene.

How am I making excuses? Is it because oil revenues might be shared world wide instead of between a handful of greedy fucks? Who cares about that stupid shit. It wont affect 90% of the American population. And if anyone is making excuses, its obviously you. You just gave excuses as to why that occupy bullshit didn't work. You really want to complain about something, why not talk about how the goverment is bringing in over 20,000 foreign troops permanently to stay at bases all over the country. Why not talk about planned obsolescence? Why not talk about how the government is going to put rfid chips into food stamps recipients? Again, get a grip on some real policies instead stupid ass shit like this that doesn't affect hardly anyone at all.
